I’m Hanan Al-Adilah a student in the Department of Biological Sciences at Kuwait University . I have a degree in Botany as a major. . I have take three months research project course in the academic year 2009-2010. The project was on using tissue culture techniques for conservation of a native medicinal plant in Kuwait . I picked up all necessary research techniques very qickly and applied it to my project successfully . Now im working with Dr.Suad Al-mazrooei in tissue culture lab as a part time .
During my life in the university . I did not just focus on my academic career . I took part in many extracurricular activities such as “ botany club and motivated and help in promoting botany program in many ways including participating in open days and creating a facebook Page to surve the students in the program .
I have worked in tissue culture laboratory From 25th of December 2011 to 10thof April 2012 as a my part was to maintain plant tissue cultures of selective native plants from Kuwait desert. I applied the micropropagation techniques of nodal segments under aseptic conditios.during the period , I managed tp prepare a large collection of in vitro plantlets from 5 species of ative plants.
I have take one month research project course in Kuwiat Istitute for Scientific Reserch . The project was on usingdifferent levels of NPK fertilizers on soil ad the vegetative growth of olive trees .
